" I read once somewhere that at any given moment, we have a choice to make - one choice brings happiness into the world, and the other choice doesn’t . One choice brings us contentment and peace; the other fills us with anxiety and fear. We can’t expect that we’ll always make the right choice - we might lose our temper, or make a decision which hurts someone, or allow our insecurities to lead us astray … but over time, if we make it a conscious habit, we might be able to slowly turn into the person we’d like ourselves to be. And that’s all we can really ask of ourselves. Tonight, tomorrow, whenever you read this, I hope that you too take a deep breath, forgive yourself, and have a little faith that - just for the moment - life, God, the higher power or being you believe in - can take care of the details."
