Did you feel the earth shaking?

No worries. It will go like this for at least a month cuz Madonna's Sticky&Sweet Tour just kicked off in Cardiff this Saturday. Although, this time, I am not going to be blessed personally by her divine power I will keep searching and updating with her best moments. Here are the first bits...

This 'old school' look just makes my day. Definitely H&M power! :D

And of course, some of her performances. Amazing how her voice evolved throughout the years!

From the little I saw on YouTube, my personal favs are "Human Nature" with the fantastic "It's Britney Bitch" ending and the joyful "She Is Not Me".

not the end

*Update*

“That’s one thing about the missus’s shows. They are non-stop."

“You get in, she’s on and then you have two hours of non-stop entertainment.”

Guy, who turns 40 in two weeks, watched the entire show wearing a pair of classy shades — not because he’s a poser but because his eyesight isn’t what it used to be.

He added: “I haven’t seen a lot of the shows properly before because I always forget my glasses.”

You can’t blame a man married to Madonna for having trouble with his eyesight.

I couldn’t believe my eyes for most of the show on Saturday night.

Secret Combination

In Thai, "Marple" means "Fanta". Or may be it was the opposite?
It doesn't really matter.
What matters is that our beloved Marple is already making some big progress in Bangkok. Well, it's not by making the good old English tea, but it's still a great success:

If you lived here, you'd be home now

If you are a regular reader*, you should know by now, that real estate is among the things I am really into. And since we are in the middle of the summer, I decided to share with you those real estate pearls. These are pretty nice vacation (and even for regular living) houses. Keeping the dream alive that very soon I will be able to get one of them and invite all of you, my dear readers, for a nice summer camp! Enjoy!

Marple, Marple, Marple!

Dear all,

We are in a bit of kerfuffle. Why? Because our beloved Marple is leaving tomorrow to help some tsunami victims in Thailand, educate them and make them better people. The same way she did with us, here in West Hampshire.
As a co-founder of the Knitting club, the Apple Pie club, and the Boar Hunting club, I would like to say that there is not going to be a replacement of the board of directors and the hierarchy is going to be the same, i.e. Marple and Abigale on the top. No elections are going to be held for Marple's position so don't go giving me evils!

Kind Regards,

Abigale ;-)

P.S. I forgot to communicate that you are obliged to wear a t-shirt with this photo on every meeting we are going to have until February'09. Anybody who doesn't is a traitor!

Words of Wisdom

"If you’re getting kicked in the butt, at least it means you’re in the front."

"The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer."

"If you're good at something, never do it for free" - The Joker

The Economist Club

I spent this sunny Sunday afternoon (+evening) out with my Kramer pals - Alex, Julia and Zizi. I like to think of us as the Economist Club. I always have a great and fulfilling time with the three of them. This time, we discussed important things like hair extensions, gold-diggers, mountain closeness, oil and rice prices, Latin soap-operas, facebook updates, and many, many more...all important for the global economy. Our meetings are always documented...just in case we need background pictures when we accept our Noble Prize Award for Economy.

...Serious, serious talking going on!!!!

/* and I just really like this picture of Julia...thought I should share */
