Rain is what the thunder brings

Summer is long gone and autumn's presence is more and more persistent. What we all need is a strong umbrella against the heavy autumn rains and a song to hum below.
A creative solution is the "F*** The Rain umbrella" which very figuratively sends the message:

..From the Rain's perspective
And a nice "Rain" themed song could be:

Miss Abigale Lives Forever

Not only Marple a.k.a. "Little Thai Princess of everything under $3" is taking over the world. Also Abigale a.k.a. "Proud of my Wurst fingers and Muller yogurt tummy" is successfully dominating the European continent:

Rumor says, the famous "Unter den Linden" is to be renamed in "Der Kaiserpinguin Alee".

ZARA's Autumn/Winter 2008 collection keeps on coming. With special thanks to my sister who entered into the role of a model, I present you some of the new fashion choices of the clothing brand. All of this can make me think only for the possibility to re-invent our small dancing troop and make it popular all over the world! Any comments?! If we are short on budget, we can wait for the sales at the end of the winter.

Taking Over The World

My beloved Marple, currently known as Thai's Little Princess of Luxury Clothes for $3, has started a personal clothing line. Take a look at her first mass product.
Of course, all the clothes have her face printed on them, from early age up to now, so that her admirers can worship her 24/7.
Next step: building the goddess a temple.

Killing two birds with one shot

My first week in Berlin was like living in the "Over Logging" episode of South Park.
O.K. I admit I am exaggerating a lot. Yes, I didn't have an Internet connection at home but thanks to a very sunny and helpful new friend, I soon knew all the available free wi-fi hot spots in Berlin.
The best one, of course, remains the Haagen-Dazs Cafe.
Tasteful sweets, ice-cream and cakes. One bird.
Fast and free wi-fi connetion. Two birds.
Located next to the Sony Centre and the Ritz Carlton Hotel where all the stars coming to the Berlinale Film Festival stay...Wait a minute. This makes three birds with one shot. ;-)

Gone Gone Gone*

Let me turn back the time a little bit and post something on the 10 days I spent in Milan before coming to Berlin. Living for 4 years in Kramer was something great. Emptying the room I've lived in for 4 years in just one day was something deserving an Olympic medal.

Kri Kri also had to pack for good and for Glasgow. She deserves an Oscar for her packing lessons and advice performance. In the Economic club we are all about the money. That's why we made a Video Lesson for future movers and we are planning on making a lot of money from it. Just kiddin'. There is, of course, a video but without Kri Kri's approval I can't share it with you.
Having an exam and dealing with Italian authorities were a part of the charm of the whole process.

The best thing to have around were my fellow members of the Economist club - PaPa and KriKri. So thank you, my future hedge fund dinosaurs, for the evenings, for the ice-cream and for the laughs!

And actually, I've never thought that I will find in the Bocconi library the best possible picture to describe my current status:

New city, new experience, new faces. New blog postings.

Absolutely brilliant and funny

I just love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The opening of SNL totally rocked! In case you've missed it, have a look:

Ich bin ein Berliner

"Two thousand years ago the proudest boast was civis Romanus sum [I am a Roman citizen]. Today, in the world of freedom, the proudest boast is 'Ich bin ein Berliner'… All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin, and, therefore, as a free man, I take pride in the words 'Ich bin ein Berliner!'"

J. F. Kennedy said, Speaking from the balcony of Rathaus Schoneberg in 1963

I am saying this same thing today, from the window of my room in Heinrich Heine Strasse, where I am going to be ein Berliner for the next 6 months (more or less).

Without any knowledge of German, I promise not to end up like Liz Lemon (watch the video) but keeping you updated for everything cool that I am going to experience in these months.

Auf Wiedersehen!

How To Become A Princess - A 7 Day Course

Very useful, especially for little girls who want to become true LaDiEs when they grow up!

Yes, I do have a book like this.

And I bought it myself.
