Chateau d'Orient

There are many things that Abigale and Marple will remember for each other but just for you to know, in their cooking classes they never "cook and tell". Their exquisite intelligence and witty remarks are not for the masses. But here, today (with their permission), I am going to share with you two things that they'll always connect with each other.

The first one is the secret of Marple for the fresh air in her small English cottage:
And the second one is the "вихрогонки" (i.e. horse riders) music Abigale loves to listen to and Marple simply can't stand...but knows that every time she hears one of those she will remember the taste of the morning coffee of Abigale and her butter cookies. The last one is a Fact! Gossip girl told me so! ;-)

P.S. Those two are going to make one hell of a Dirty Sexy Money very very soon. Trust me!

Summer in the City

After a week of rain and cold (thank you, global warming), the sun is back again above our studying heads. Because it couldn't wait for two more weeks when I will be, hopefully, done with the exams. The title of the song says enough for what I wish to do right now. I proudly present you the song of summer 2008 -- Escape (the Pina Colada a.k.a. Menta with Sprite Song) ;-)

"..nobody likes you when you are 23.."

Last week, in the middle of exams and assignments, I had my birthday. I grew up from this little ball:
..to this big one:
But I promise I won't make it all for me. Although, what best opportunity to show my big fat baby narcissism than my own birth day?! [-:
Anyways, it was a small gathering - all tired and bored from the antisocial student life we are living for the last 4 years.
Wait! Wait!
Life's not boring when you have:

-- professional made Menta with Sprite (thank u):

-- some crazy chicks around you, like my beloved Marple:
-- friends who show up and I love them for this (didn't want any pics taken, so I'm respecting their wish)

-- friends who try to call you but talk to an old lady instead [-':

And what do I wish for? All Your kind wishes to come true! Cheers!

welcome to the crib

In Real Estate I Trust. And this one will go in my sister's assets accounts [-:

This house is located on the northern part of the island of Kythira, on an isolated hilltop overlooking the Peloponnese and the sea, with a big internal courtyard providing shelter from strong winds. It houses a family of 6 plus their guests - the number of which often exceeds 20 people. The architecture is directly influenced from the local vernacular and local materials were preferred for the construction. The initial design thoughts on sustainable architecture, are reflected by the orientation, the materials used and the spatial configuration of the building that provides natural ventilation and protection from the intense heat of the Greek summers. The total area of the building measures 4000 square feet.

THE Chosen One

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

L'Amour Ne Dure Pas Toujours

Last week I went to Feist's concert, here in Milan. Great, Great, Great performance! Sooooooo down-to-earth and cool is this artist (i guess coming from Canada has smth to do with it (-: )

She performed almost all of her big hits, although I missed a lot "Honey, Honey", "Let it Die" and "One Evening".

But com'on, her translation of 'birds' to Italian as 'mozzarella' and 'tanti nutelli' was so cute (-:

Here are 3 videos I took: (sorry for the shaking hand)
