It's all down to an effective multitasking

Broadcast TV was a great choice when a> there weren't a lot of other options and b> when everyone else was watching the same thing, so you needed to see it to be educated.
Now, though, you could:
  • Run a little store on eBay
  • Write a daily blog done
  • Write a novel in progress
  • Start an online community about your favorite passion done
  • Go to meetups in your town done
  • Volunteer to tutor a kid, in person or online
  • Learn a new language, verbal or programming done
  • Write hand written thank you notes each evening to people who helped you out or did a good job
  • Produce small films and publish them online done
  • Listen to the one thousand most important operas in progress
  • Read a book or two every evening in progress
  • Play a game of Scrabble with your family
None of them are perfect. Each of them are better than TV.
Probably.
Probably not.
I am aware of the fact that TV is ruining my life, and yet I can't let go.
And frankly, I don't want to.
So here is one, for all of you, who, like me, can effectively multitask and manage to keep up with everything that matters.
